List of Presentations
TREASURE VALLEY HIGHER EDUCATION TOUR
Leslie Carlson | University of Idaho & Bianca Ridley | Idaho State University
We will be discussing topics and ideas to improve Higher Education Tour specifically in the Treasure Valley. This will include an overview of feedback specific to Region 3, colleges hosting Higher Ed Days, and how the tour is planned.
E.Y.E. SIGHT | EMPOWERING YOUR EMPLOYEES
Westin Cordier | Brigham Young University - Idaho
This presentation will serve more as a self help presentation about empowering employees to achieve their potential. It is easy to see employees and their habits as obstacles rather than people. When we finally see people for who they are and what they can be, we can all rise together.
NORTH & SOUTH IDAHO HIGHER EDUCATION TOUR
Bianca Ridley and Morgan Betts | Idaho State University
We will be discussing topics and ideas to improve Higher Education Tour specifically in Regions 1 & 2, and 4-6. This will include an overview of feedback specific to these regions, colleges hosting Higher Ed Days, and ways we can improve in these regions.
UNITY WITHIN YOUR INSTITUTION
Najé Evans | Boise Bible College
Too many times we are bogged down by frustration with other coworkers who don't give the effort that you may give. Or they see that collaborating with you may not seem very "beneficial". It is up to you to set the tone and be the example within your workplace. "Unity starts with you" is a great way to understand the need to be the leader model for your coworkers to advance unity throughout your institution.
MAKING THE MOST OF OUR TIME
Andrea Orozco | Boise State University
In the fast-paced world of college admissions, aren't we all striving to be as effective as we can with limited time and resources? This spring, the Treasure Valley Higher Education Tour was shortened in part by a large-scale program hosted at Boise State. This example as well as the creation of an Idaho College Fair Week this upcoming fall are a couple of ways this can be achieved. Come join us to explore additional collaborative opportunities in order to serve students while increasing our bandwidth.
